Hello Kitty BumBumz | Official Plush Collection
Our Hello Kitty BumBumz brings Sanrio's most beloved character to the softest, squishiest plush format you've ever held. Each collectible sits perfectly in your palm with that signature bottom-heavy design, featuring Hello Kitty's iconic red bow and sweet expression embroidered onto ultra-plush fabric. We designed these for maximum squish factor — the weighted poly-bead filling creates that addictive tactile experience fans love, while the outer marshmallow-soft fabric begs to be squeezed again and again.
Every Hello Kitty BumBumz we produce carries official Sanrio licensing, which means you're getting authentic design details that honor the character's 50-year heritage. We work directly with Sanrio's design team to ensure the embroidered bow sits at exactly the right angle, the whisker placement matches official character guidelines, and the color palette stays true to Hello Kitty's classic look.
Materials & Construction Quality
We manufacture Hello Kitty BumBumz with the same ultra-soft polyester plush we use across our entire licensed character lineup. This fabric grade sits somewhere between traditional minky and velour — soft enough to be comforting, dense enough to hold embroidered details cleanly. The weighted poly-bead interior creates that signature bottom-heavy sit that defines the BumBumz aesthetic.
Each seam goes through triple-stitching at our production facility, a detail we added after early collector feedback requested more durability. The result is a plush that tolerates aggressive squishing, tossing into bags, and handling by younger fans without splitting or losing fill. Surface washing with a damp cloth keeps the exterior fresh, though we don’t recommend full submersion since the poly-bead fill takes days to dry completely.
Display & Collection Tips
Shelf Display
The bottom-weighted design means Hello Kitty BumBumz sits upright without propping or stands. We see collectors arranging them in rows on floating shelves, mixing Hello Kitty with other licensed character BumBumz to create colorful displays that show off the full range. The compact footprint — roughly 3.5 inches per plush — lets you fit a dozen characters on a standard 24-inch shelf without crowding.
Mix & Match
Hello Kitty pairs naturally with other Sanrio BumBumz in our catalog, but collectors also create themed groupings by color or character universe. Some fans dedicate entire shelves to pink and red characters, while others group all feline-inspired designs together. The uniform size and silhouette across our licensed characters collection means any arrangement looks intentional rather than mismatched.

Hello Kitty BumBumz Questions
We recommend surface cleaning only with a damp cloth and mild soap. The poly-bead filling can shift or clump if fully submerged and machine agitation may stress the seams over time. Spot cleaning maintains the plush texture and embroidery detail best. If deeper cleaning is needed, hand wash gently in cool water and air dry completely before use — this can take 48-72 hours for the beads to dry thoroughly.
Each Hello Kitty BumBumz measures approximately 3.5 inches in diameter, which is our standard size across all licensed character designs. The palm-sized format makes them easy to display in groups, tuck into bags, or hold comfortably in one hand. The weighted bottom adds stability so they sit upright at about 3 inches tall when placed on a flat surface.
Yes, every Hello Kitty BumBumz carries official Sanrio licensing. We work directly with Sanrio’s design and approval teams to ensure all character details — from bow placement to color accuracy — meet their strict brand guidelines. Each plush includes official Sanrio hang tags and licensing information on the product label.
We label Hello Kitty BumBumz for ages 3 and up due to the small size and bead filling. The embroidered features eliminate choking hazards from detachable plastic parts, and our reinforced stitching holds up to handling by younger children. That said, we see collectors of all ages — from preschoolers to adults — enjoying them as comfort items, desk accessories, and collectible displays.
Absolutely. We produce BumBumz for multiple Sanrio characters including My Melody, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, Pochacco, Keroppi, and Chococat. All licensed character BumBumz share the same size, construction quality, and bottom-weighted design, so they display beautifully together. Many collectors build complete Sanrio sets or mix characters from different licensed properties on themed shelves.
Regular light brushing with a soft-bristle brush removes dust and keeps the polyester plush looking fluffy. Store Hello Kitty BumBumz away from direct sunlight to prevent any color fading on the fabric or embroidery thread. If the plush gets compressed during storage or shipping, gently fluff it with your hands and the marshmallow texture will bounce back within a few hours.
Our standard Hello Kitty BumBumz features the classic white body with red bow design that matches official Sanrio character standards. We occasionally release special edition colorways or seasonal variants — these limited runs get announced through our newsletter and social channels. The core Hello Kitty design remains consistent to honor the character’s iconic look that fans recognize worldwide.
