Where to Buy Bum Bumz: Official Retailers & Availability Guide
If you’ve fallen in love with the adorable, squishy Bum Bumz plush toys, you’re probably wondering where to buy Bum Bumz and which retailers carry the full range of collections. These collectible plush characters have become hugely popular, but availability can vary depending on the season, release schedule, and retailer.
We’ve put together this guide to help you navigate the best places to find authentic Bum Bumz, from our official collections to trusted retail partners. Whether you’re hunting for a specific character, looking for limited-edition releases, or just starting your collection, knowing where to shop makes all the difference.
Official Bum Bumz Collections and Online Store
The most reliable place to find the complete Bum Bumz lineup is through our official online store. Shopping directly from us guarantees authenticity, and you’ll always see the latest releases first — including special collections that might not make it to all retail partners right away.
Our site features dedicated collection pages for themed series, so you can browse by category or character type. For example, fans of nostalgic characters will find dedicated sections for crossover plush like the Strawberry Shortcake Bum Bumz and other licensed collaborations that bring beloved characters into the squishy, collectible Bum Bumz format.
Buying direct also means you’ll have access to bundle deals, pre-orders for upcoming drops, and seasonal promotions that aren’t always available through third-party retailers. Plus, our customer service team can help with questions about sizing, care, or upcoming releases.
Major Retail Partners Carrying Bum Bumz
Beyond our official store, Bum Bumz plush are stocked at several major toy and specialty retailers across North America. Stores like Target, Walmart, and specialty toy chains often carry core collections, especially during peak toy-shopping seasons like the holidays and back-to-school periods.
Availability at these retailers can shift based on location and inventory cycles, so it’s worth calling ahead or checking online stock before making a trip. Some stores display Bum Bumz in the collectible plush section, while others group them with trending toys or seasonal gift displays.
Keep an eye out for retailer-exclusive colorways or characters — occasionally, a retail partner will carry a variant that’s unique to their stores for a limited time.
Finding Limited-Edition and Seasonal Releases
Bum Bumz regularly release limited-edition characters tied to holidays, pop culture moments, or special collaborations. These drops tend to sell out quickly, so timing matters if you’re after a specific piece.
The best way to stay in the loop is by signing up for our email newsletter or following our social channels, where we announce upcoming releases and restock dates. According to Wikipedia’s overview of collectibles, limited-run plush toys often gain secondary-market value once they’re no longer in production, which makes early purchasing from official sources even more worthwhile.
Some seasonal collections appear only during specific months — think Valentine’s Day hearts, Halloween spooky editions, or winter holiday themes. If you miss the initial launch window, these can be harder to track down later, though occasional restocks do happen.
Tips for Verifying Authentic Bum Bumz Products
As Bum Bumz have grown in popularity, counterfeit or knock-off plush have started appearing on some third-party marketplaces. Authentic Bum Bumz always feature our branded hang tags, high-quality stitching, and the signature squishy texture that makes them so huggable.
When shopping outside official channels, check seller ratings carefully and look for clear product photos showing the tags and details. If a deal seems too good to be true — especially for a sought-after limited edition — it’s worth pausing to verify the seller’s reputation.
Buying from our official store or a known retail partner eliminates the guesswork and ensures you’re getting the real thing, complete with any warranty or return policies that come with legitimate merchandise.
